Demetrio Milani was a man with a dream, a dream which now lives on through myself. His legacy is what has given me the inspiration and strength to share my successes with the community in the hopes of reaching out and helping those in need.

My first step began with a dream; the second and rest are now, of which my hope lies in tomorrow!

My scholarship dream of sponsoring a local student began with the independent search for funding – in which a regular visit to a local plumber's waste bin, provided me with used water tanks, and scrap metal.

This gave me the means, where I disassembled the brass and steel from the metal surroundings of hot water tanks, this continued over a bi-monthly basis, enabling a scheduled drop off at recycling depots in exchange for funds.

Exceeding my own accomplishments, I’m very pleased to announce that another local student will be appointed the “Demetrio Scholarship” who has displayed promising qualities in the face of adversity and indubitably will grow with the financial help provided.

I feel driven to continue my aspirations of leadership and direction for a brighter and rewarding future, for all acceptible appliciants!
